Explore Ohio Wine Country

Let us do the driving so you can enjoy the fall views and delicious wines from the more than 20 wineries in the surrounding area. The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake’s popular wine shuttles run daily year-round, offering you a lively and fun guided introduction to Ohio Wine Country.

There are now even more options when choosing The Lodge’s Deluxe Wine Shuttle. Guests can choose from three afternoon times Sunday through Thursday and five times on Fridays and Saturdays. The three winery stops for each tour are at the discretion of the shuttle driver and based on availability at the wineries.

If you’re looking for a more educational tour, join our Immersion Tours on Saturday and Sunday, hosted by our certified wine specialist. You’ll visit three wineries and enjoy a personalized, up-close experience. Plus, you’ll receive a gift bag with local chocolate and a keepsake wine glass.

The Deluxe Wine Shuttle departs from the circle drive just outside the lobby doors of The Lodge. It couldn’t be any easier to explore Ohio Wine Country. The shuttle visits the following wineries: Laurentia Vineyard & Winery; Laurello Vineyards; Hundley Cellars; The Winery at Spring Hill; Chalet Debonné Vineyards; Ferrante Winery; Grand River Cellars; Harpersfield Vineyard; South River Vineyard; Kosicek Winery; and M Cellars.

CRUSH Wine Club

A free wine club? Sign us up! The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake’s non-traditional wine appreciation club, CRUSH, is free to join with lots of amazing perks. Just for signing up, you’ll receive one complimentary Ohio Wine Flight wine tasting tray during your next stay at The Lodge.

You’ll also get deals and discounts from The Lodge, nearby wineries and local partners. Plus, recipes and culinary tips, tasting and pairing event information and local winery activities and news.

Adventure with Lake Erie Canopy Tours

There’s no better way to enjoy the fall foliage than to fly through the trees on a zipline course. This is one of the prettiest zipline tours anywhere in the state of Ohio. You’ll soar at speeds of up to 35 mph through forests and over creeks. It’s an unforgettable experience. Kids are welcome to join the challenge, too. Shorter ziplines and cool climbing features built closer to the ground will make sure they’re having just as much fun as the grown-ups.

If ziplining alone isn’t enough excitement for you, add the adventure course to it. The network of timber and rope obstacles has up to 35 elements ranging in degree of difficulty from easy to extreme.

Once you’re done soaring through the air, come back down and explore with golf cart rentals, kayaks and paddle boats.

Picturesque accommodations, steps from excitement

At The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake, you can choose from rooms and suites at The Lodge, or a private lakeside cottage to share with your family and friends. Both accommodations offer all the amenities you could ever need on your Lake Erie vacation.

You can’t get any closer to the lake than The Lodge’s spacious 600-square-foot lakeside cottages, which have two bedrooms, a kitchenette and panoramic views from the living room picture window. Guests can choose from a premium cottage, deluxe cottage or standard cottage, each defined primarily by their location across three lakeside acres.

The Lodge offers 109 rooms and suites in a variety of configurations, some available with patios or balconies or even walkout access to the pool. Both the cottages and The Lodge are just steps away from firepits and bike trails.
