Gifts That Give Back Vendor Market

On December 5 and 6, stop by the Gifts That Give Back Vendor Market (GTGB), an event that combines holiday shopping with real impact. Held at the Poston Manor and Event Barn, this indoor and outdoor market features over 60 local makers offering handmade gifts that support meaningful causes. It also celebrates the GTGB Adopting Couple of the Year and benefits several local organizations.

You’ll find thoughtful gifts that give twice—once to those you love and again to those in need. The market takes place on Friday from 5 pm to 9 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Be sure to dress for the weather, as some vendors will be outside. Their storefront on Main Street will also remain open during the event.

Dickens Dinner at Glenlaurel Estate

As America’s only luxurious Scottish Country Estate and Inn, Glenlaurel hosts a one-of-a-kind “Dickens Dinner” on December 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, and 26. The Manor House sparkles with lights, decorations, and warm fireplaces. While enjoying a six-course gourmet meal, listen to actor Seth Argabright perform readings from A Christmas Carol. The evening blends comfort, tradition, and holiday charm. Guests receive 25 percent off lodging on the night of the event (except December 26). Dickens Dinners are only available to overnight guests of the Inn on those evenings.

Logan Parade and Christmas in Ash Cave

Mark your calendar for December 6 and head to downtown Logan for the Christmas Parade. The streets fill with glowing floats, holiday music, and hometown cheer. Then on December 13, bundle up for a candlelit walk to Ash Cave, Ohio’s largest recessed cave. Enjoy cocoa as carolers sing beneath the cliffs and Santa greets families in this peaceful holiday tradition.
