Celebrating the Season of Giving

The Akron Children’s 43rd Annual Holiday Tree Festival is just around the corner, offering a heartwarming way to kick off the holiday season. Hosted at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, Ohio, and presented by the Volunteers of Akron Children’s, this event brings family and friends together to experience the joy of the holidays while supporting a great cause.

The event begins with the exclusive Holiday Tree Festival Preview Gala on November 15, 2024. Guests will get a sneak peek at beautifully decorated trees and holiday décor before the event opens. Starting November 16, visitors can enjoy a stunning display of trees, wreaths, and holiday decorations, all capturing the warmth and spirit of the season.

You can purchase each item donated by local businesses, organizations, and individuals. All proceeds support Akron Children’s.

Breakfast with Santa at Akron Children’s Holiday Tree Festival

Families can look forward to Breakfast with Santa on November 16 and 23, where kids can share their holiday wishes and enjoy a delightful breakfast. The festival will feature 150 beautifully decorated trees, 80 wreaths, and 175 unique holiday gifts, all available for purchase. A retail table will also offer holiday figurines, decorations, and more, making it easy to take home a piece of the festival’s spirit.

Holiday Tree Festival Dates and Admission Information

Admission to the festival is free. Visitors can explore the displays during the following times:

  • Saturday, Nov. 16: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 17: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 18: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 19: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 20: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 21: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Friday, Nov. 22: 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 23: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Since 1982, the Holiday Tree Festival has been a cherished tradition in Akron, bringing the community together to support Akron Children’s.
