Live Music, Local Flavor, and Family Fun All Season

Summer in Wooster, Ohio, brings more than warm weather. It brings people together. With music echoing through downtown streets and fresh produce filling the air with fragrance, this season invites you to slow down and enjoy the rhythm of small-town life.

Main Street Music Series: Free Live Music Three Nights a Week

From now through September 20, 2025, downtown Wooster will become a stage. The Main Street Music Series will offer live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the downtown pavilion, located at Liberty and Market Streets.

This year’s lineup includes 52 concerts in a wide mix of styles: classical, jazz, bluegrass, folk, country, Americana, and rock. Local musicians fill the evenings with sound and soul, giving you every reason to linger a little longer after dinner or enjoy a sweet treat under the summer sky.

Saturday Tradition: The Downtown Wooster Farmers’ Market

Wooster Summer

Now in its 28th season, the Downtown Wooster Farmers’ Market has become a weekend staple. Every Saturday morning, fresh-picked produce, artisan goods, and homemade treats fill the streets of downtown.

Vendors offer everything from locally baked bagels and kettle corn to dog treats, goat milk soap, and handmade teas. From 9 to 11 a.m., kids can participate in scavenger hunts, play with chalk and bubbles, or catch a music set at the pavilion. Live demos and tasty samples from E&H Ace Hardware round out the experience.
