1. Carroll County Fair — Carrollton: July 21–26, 2026
The Carroll County Fair continues a tradition that stretches back generations. Spend time exploring the livestock barns and exhibits, then head to the grandstand for tractor pulls, horse events, or a demolition derby.
2. Ohio State Fair — Columbus: July 29–August 9, 2026
The Ohio State Fair has been bringing families together since 1850. While many visitors come for the rides, concerts, and fair food, there’s plenty more to explore. Livestock shows, horse competitions, arts and crafts, wildlife exhibits, and hands-on activities fill the fairgrounds.
3. Athens County Fair — Athens: August 7–15, 2026
The Athens County Fair celebrates the theme “America’s Family Traditions” in 2026 with a week packed full of fair favorites. Visitors can enjoy harness racing, a rodeo, live music from The Creekers, school bus demolition derby action, KOI drag racing, truck and tractor pulls, and plenty of midway fun with Chicketti Family Amusements. 4. Erie County Fair — Sandusky: August 10–15, 2026
The Erie County Fair in Sandusky offers a little bit of everything throughout the week. Along with livestock shows, exhibits, and fair food, visitors can enjoy a rodeo, rough truck competition, tractor pulls, a livestock scramble, antique tractors and cars, horse events, and plenty of activities for kids. With free admission and a full schedule of events, it’s easy to spend a day—or several—at the fairgrounds.
5. Cuyahoga County Fair — Berea: August 11–16, 2026
Now in its 129th year, the Cuyahoga County Fair remains a favorite summer tradition in Berea. Visitors can enjoy livestock exhibits, contests, entertainment, midway rides, and all the fair food classics. Its location near Cleveland also makes it easy to pair a day at the fair with other Northeast Ohio attractions.
6. Ashtabula County Fair — Jefferson: August 11–16, 2026
For nearly 180 years, people have gathered in Jefferson for the Ashtabula County Fair. Along with agricultural exhibits and livestock shows, visitors will find midway rides, entertainment, competitions, and all the fair food favorites.
7. Canfield Fair — Canfield: September 2–7, 2026
Established in 1846, the Canfield Fair is Ohio’s largest county fair and the third-largest county fair in the United States. Known for its longtime slogan, “Something to Crow About,” the fair attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each Labor Day weekend. Agricultural exhibits, livestock competitions, food vendors, entertainment, shopping, and midway rides combine to create one of Ohio’s most anticipated annual events.
8. Wayne County Fair — Wooster: September 12–17, 2026
The Wayne County Fair keeps the fairgrounds busy from morning to night with livestock shows, competitions, exhibits, and grandstand events. Visitors can catch a rodeo, demolition derby, truck and tractor pulls, harness racing, and live entertainment throughout the week.
9. Delaware County Fair — Delaware: September 19–26, 2026
Home to the famous Little Brown Jug, the Delaware County Fair combines a long-standing agricultural tradition with one of the nation’s most prestigious harness racing events. Visitors come for the excitement of race day, but stay for the livestock shows, exhibits, midway rides, fair food, and grandstand events ranging from demolition derbies to rough truck competitions. 10. Fairfield County Fair — Lancaster: October 11–17, 2026
One of Ohio’s final major fairs of the season, the Fairfield County Fair gives visitors one last chance to enjoy fair season before autumn takes center stage. The fair combines rides, food, entertainment, and agricultural traditions with the welcoming atmosphere that has made it a favorite for generations.
