An Oktoberfest Twist on Fall Fun at Sluggers & Putters in Canal Fulton
Big kids just wanna have fun, and Sluggers & Putters Amusement Park offers the perfect chance to play grown-up style. Back for a fourth year, Putt-Tober-Fest brings libations and thrill-seeking together September 25-27 in Canal Fulton. Here are five reasons grown-ups will love this fall event.
Sluggers & Putters Vice President Sky McCully says the celebration gives adults a fall event of their own. “We came up with the idea because we knew we could offer something fun and geared towards adults in the Fall and help extend our season—since the following weekends, we do a Halloween-themed Ride & Treat event for the kids,” said McCully.

Pre-sale tickets cost $35 and include five samples of Oktoberfest-themed drinks or seasonal beers. A mobile bar on the patio serves the tasty concoctions throughout the event. Oktoberfest music adds another lively note to the celebration.

Enjoy Unlimited Putt-Tober-Fest Attractions
Having fun sans kids also means enjoying unlimited access to the park’s rides. The F-22 Raptor Go Karts may have you calling Aleve for an assist. Who cares when the Lil Dipper Roller Coaster, Scrambler and Dodge’em Bumper Cars await? For a quieter spin, try the Flying Chair Swings, Tea Cups or Professor Marvel’s Ferris Wheel.
Put the ‘Putt’ in Putt-Tober-Fest
Tap into a little friendly competition on one or both mini-golf courses. Adventure Mini-Golf follows the yellow brick road through 19 Wizard of Oz and Mother Goose-themed holes. The course includes original Mother Gooseland props and the world’s only hand-carved Wizard of Oz character tree.
Then there’s Olde’ Skool Golf, where groovy 1960s tunes keep the good times rolling. You may think that seasonal beer is playing with your mind, but it isn’t. Outta sight attractions include the hand-carved Military Tree and the Red Baron Plane.
