Experience the Coshocton County Fall Foliage & Farm Tour
The annual Fall Foliage & Farm Tour takes place Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18, 2026. Coshocton County is home to more than 1,000 farms. Additionally, this free, family-friendly event offers visitors a rare opportunity to explore working farms and agricultural attractions throughout the region.
The self-guided driving tour showcases the beauty of Ohio’s fall colors while highlighting the rich agricultural heritage of Coshocton County. Previous tours have featured century farms, livestock operations, horse and dairy farms, fish hatcheries, cheese producers, timber and furniture makers, vineyards, and historic sites. A lunch stand is available along the route.
Tour brochures will be available at Hopewell School, 23720 Airport Road, Coshocton, Ohio, on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The Ohio State University Extension Office, the USDA Farm Service Agency of Coshocton County, and the Soil and Water Conservation District sponsor the event.
Attend the Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival in Historic Roscoe Village
One of Ohio’s most beloved fall festivals, the Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival returns to Historic Roscoe Village October 16–18, 2026. Since 1971, this annual tradition has attracted visitors from across the Midwest. They come to enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of autumn.
Watch apple butter being stirred in a cast-iron kettle, browse artisan booths and food vendors, and shop the unique stores of Historic Roscoe Village. Live entertainment, children’s activities, and seasonal demonstrations take place throughout the festival.
Guests can also enjoy the included self-guided living history tour featuring local ghost stories and legends. Admission is $10, with children 12 and under admitted free. Free parking is available. Weather permitting, visitors can also ride the Monticello III Horse-Drawn Canal Boat. Historic Roscoe Village is open year-round, excluding major holidays.
Explore the Three Rivers Wine Trail
Fall is one of the best times to discover the Three Rivers Wine Trail. This popular Ohio wine trail features locally crafted wines and beers in unique settings. Participating locations include a restored flour mill, train depot, riverside restaurant, and historic farm.
Visitors can pick up a free passport at any participating location. Then collect stamps from six of the seven stops to earn a complimentary T-shirt. The trail offers a fun way to experience the scenic beauty, local flavors, and hospitality of Coshocton County during the fall season.
For an enhanced experience, the Sip & Stay package at Coshocton Village Inn & Suites is available every Thursday through the end of October and on select Saturdays into December. The package includes transportation, overnight accommodations, visits and vouchers for four trail locations, and a dinner voucher for a local restaurant.
