The annual tree lighting ceremony is a beloved tradition that officially ushers in the holiday season. Gather your family and friends to watch the Christmas tree come to life, casting a warm glow over the square. This day is also Wind-Up Wednesday, where early bird specials begin at 6 am at businesses around town. 

December 2 promises to be a day full of excitement as Caldwell hosts its annual Christmas parade at 6 pm. The streets will be adorned with festive decorations and lined with eager spectators. You can expect colorful floats, marching bands, and a special appearance by the man in the red suit, Santa Claus. Stay for the Buckeye Travelers and carriage rides.

Bring the little ones out on December 3 between 3 pm and 5 pm to visit the Christmas donkeys from White Oaks Farm dressed in their holiday attire. Santa will be joining the fun, too!

On December 16, enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast with the Grinch himself from 8 am to 11 am at the Caldwell Fire Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for the little ones to have a fun-filled meal with a holiday character straight from the pages of Dr. Seuss.  

If you are in the mood for a more serene holiday experience, consider taking a tour of Caldwell’s beautiful churches during the day on December 9. December 16 is packed with fun activities for all ages. Lace up your skates and head to the skate party, where you can participate in games and contests with the chance to win prizes. Later in the evening, dance the night away at the square dance with the Buckeye Travelers, a local favorite. An evening of lively music and twirling skirts will put everyone in the holiday spirit. 

Also, on December 16, don’t miss Caldwell’s first-ever outdoor Christmas Carnival and Market.
