Where to Start Your Sweet Donut Journey
Start your adventure in Middletown at Central Pastry Shop, home of the crispy-edged, soft-centered “Uglies” and irresistible cinnamon squares. Seasonal Paczki also appears; you’ll want to snap a photo by their colorful Donut Trail mural.
Next, head to Holtman’s Donut Shop in West Chester. Their donuts are stacked with toppings like Fruity Pebbles, bacon, or gooey house-made marshmallows. Large viewing windows let you watch the bakers at work, making it part-treat and part behind-the-scenes fun.
Jupiter Coffee and Donuts in Fairfield is perfect for pairing your donuts with handcrafted coffee. Their maple donuts are made using syrup from the family’s Ohio farm, giving every bite a cozy, local flavor.
Kelly’s Bakery fills its cases with bold flavors in Hamilton, including Buckeye, Maple Bacon, and S’mores. You’ll also find pastries, cinnamon rolls, and cookies ready to take home—if they make it that far.
