Experience the Enchantment of Dickens Victorian Village
Experience the enchantment of Dickens Victorian Village from November 1, 2025, to January 1, 2026, in historic downtown Cambridge, where you feel the spirit of Charles Dickens and merry Olde England as they celebrate their magical 20th season. As you stroll or drive down Wheeling Avenue, you can view nearly a hundred inspired Victorian scenes along the street and in some windows.
A Grand Opening and a Visit from Gerald Dickens
After an Opening Night to remember, Gerald Dickens, the great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens, will arrive in town from England. He will be presenting “A Christmas Carol” at Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center on the evening of November 11. His enthusiastic performance will bring back memories of Scrooge and his Christmas ghosts. Overnight packages that include dinner and a keep-sake Dickens ornament are available.

Start Your Visit at the Dickens Welcome Center
Dickens Welcome Center is a great place to start your day. Here you can learn how the village began twenty years ago, see original drawings of the scenes and find many treasures to remind you of your visit. Don’t forget to visit the Imagination Station, where you can dress in Victorian clothing and have your picture taken with Charles Dickens or Father Christmas.
End the Day with the Courthouse Holiday Light Show
Enjoy the small-town charm as you end your day watching the Courthouse Holiday Light show with 85,000 lights synchronized with holiday music. You’re sure to catch the Christmas spirit at Dickens Victorian Village and create holiday memories that will last a lifetime.
