Savor delicious Amish pastries and admire the town’s Swiss-inspired architecture. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock, built in 1972. It stands in the square, and a group of Swiss characters emerges from the clock every hour for a delightful dance.

Every fall since 1953, downtown Sugarcreek comes alive with a lively celebration of Swiss heritage. The Ohio Swiss Festival turns the town into a bustling Swiss village, showcasing the rich cultural traditions of Switzerland. From wine and cheese tastings to thrilling races, contests, and parades, the festival offers a wide range of activities for all ages. This year’s festival is scheduled from September 26 to September 28, 2024. Each day promises a blend of music, delectable food, and entertaining performances.

Exploring Berlin

Next, venture into Berlin, a village nestled in the heart of Amish Country. Here, you’ll discover a vibrant mix of activities, from exploring its famous handcrafted furniture to savoring delicious home-cooked meals.
