Farmers and Threshermens Jubilee

The Farmers and Threshermens Jubilee is a country festival where antique machinery takes center stage. Also offers a variety of other activities for the entire family: contests ranging from arm wrestling and photography to the Outhouse Dash, tractor- and horse-pulling competitions, a quilt show and sale, an apple pie contest, live music, a Kids Day, arts and crafts sales, and home-style foods.

Mountain Craft Days

Log Cabin Days

Featuring, demonstrations of lumberjack skills, ax throwing, and cross cutsawing. 19th century log cabin related trades such as hand hewing, wood carving, furniture making, spinning and rug braiding. Petting zoo, covered wagon rides and pony rides. An array of authentic old-fashioned, mouth-watering food made over an open fire. A family fun event all ages will enjoy!

Hocking County Fair

The Hocking County Fair, in Logan, Ohio, features livestock shows, demolition derby, tractor pulls, and more. Nightly entertainment and kids’ shows are held near the Art Hall, which also houses various exhibits and commercial booths. Bates Bros. Amusements provide midway rides, and Sterling Fundways offers games. A wide variety of food is available throughout the fairgrounds.

Paw Paw Festival

The Ohio Pawpaw Festival is a weekend event celebrating the pawpaw (Asimina triloba), a native American fruit. The festival features food, drinks, presentations, and activities focused on pawpaw cultivation, cooking, and uses, as well as sustainability. Highlights include competitions for the best and biggest pawpaws, a pawpaw cook-off, an art contest, and a pawpaw-eating contest.

The 26th Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival

The Ohio Pawpaw Festival is an community celebration focused on the pawpaw, America’s largest native tree fruit. The festival features a weekend packed with activities and presentations on pawpaw cultivation, cooking, and sustainable uses, including its genetics and medicinal benefits. Attendees can enjoy pawpaw-themed foods and beverages, along with special events.

Hocking Hills Trail Run

Starting at the Naturalist Cabin in Hocking Hills State Park, the Hocking Hills Trail Run takes participants through the expansive woodlands of the State Park and Hocking State Forest. Runners will navigate across streams, through deep gorges, past sparkling waterfalls, and amidst forests, tackling both uphill and downhill terrain. This trail run is a true test of a runner’s focus and endurance.

The event spans three days with multiple parking reservation times to maintain low crowd density, featuring artists, food, live music, pumpkin carving, glass blowing demos, and DIY activities. Jack Pine Studio, located in Hocking Hills, is a renowned hand-blown glass studio and gallery, with Jack’s work showcased in galleries and museums nationwide.

Ravenna Balloon A-Fair

he 45th Ravenna Balloon A-Fair is held in Downtown Ravenna, Ohio and Sunbeau Valley Farm September 19-22. Below is our schedule of events for the festival. Cost for the festival at Sunbeau Valley Farm is $5 a car for parking and $5 a person (kids 12 and under free) for entry. There will be a free shuttle to Sunbeau from Brown Middle School Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This beloved community celebration takes place at John Roger Simon’s historic well-preserved 5th-generation French homestead on the banks of Pond Creek, framed by the farm’s 500-plus acres of forested Appalachian hills.
