Discover the Hidden Trails Wine Cellar of Carroll County

Wineries are popping up everywhere across Ohio. But one county has created a venue unlike any other. The Hidden Trails Wine Cellar at Bluebird Farm Park is a Carroll County Park District venture celebrating wines from around the world.

Bluebird Farm has served many purposes over the years, and in 2008 its owners donated the farm to the Carroll County Park District. This included scenic trails, historical buildings, and an amphitheater for summer concerts.

January, 2022 ushered in The Hidden Trails Wine Cellar at Bluebird Farm Park. A restored early 1800s barn provides the perfect atmosphere for guests to explore the subtle nuances and vivid notes of a collection of wines from around the world, all while savoring the intimate experience with family or friends.

Past themed events have included “Taste of Tuscany,” “European Flights,” and “Local Harvests,” which featured Ohio wines. The Farm has exciting plans for the summer and hopes to expand seating to the porch and garden areas as the weather warms. While public events are scheduled, seating is limited. To plan an event, make reservations, or for information, call 330-627-8046 or email info@ccparkdistrict.org.

The Hidden Trails Wine Cellar is a distinctive and fresh way to expand your wine experience, but it’s not the only winery serving up vino. Creekside Cottage Winery in Magnolia is family-owned and operated in a quaint property built in 1921. Casella Winery brings fresh and flavorful offerings from an old one-room schoolhouse in Dennison.

Carroll County is a small rural county in Ohio. A place where time slows down and people know your name. Visit Carroll County, hold up your wine glass, and make a toast to the relaxing side of life.
