The Mountaineer Brewfest returns to Wheeling, West Virginia on August 16, 2025—and it’s about more than just craft beer. This annual event not only showcases the finest West Virginia breweries at Heritage Port, but also pours out generosity with a mission to serve the community.
Since its start, Mountaineer Brewfest has raised over $267,000 for local charities—thanks to proceeds and tips collected by the non-profit Circus Saints & Sinners.
Beer with a Purpose
This year’s featured charity is the House of the Carpenter (HOC), which is actively assisting flood victims following the June 14th weather event. HOC is a vital collection hub for supplies, offering support to those recovering from the damage.
Mountaineer Brewfest President and Founder Jeff Hayes puts it best:
“This doesn’t happen by chance. It takes the support and investment of sponsors, volunteers, patrons, local government, committee members, and more… We are grateful and humbled by this achievement and look forward to continuing to help our local charities in the coming years.”
Whatever you’re sipping at the Brewfest supports the cause.
