Deriving its name from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s iconic winged logo, lucky visitors to Wingfoot Lake may catch a glimpse of a Goodyear blimp floating across the water, with its gigantic hangar looming over the lake. The blimp will be celebrating its 100th year in service in 2025—a sight you won’t want to miss!

Portage Park District, the Hike & Bike Trail, the Buckeye Trail, and various local parks provide excellent birdwatching opportunities. Wingfoot Lake is home to bald eagles!
