Mount Vernon lights up with activities on Sunday, December 1. The day begins with the Annual Holiday Parade, featuring a “Vintage Holiday Celebration” theme. Enjoy beautifully decorated floats, vintage costumes, and classic holiday tunes that evoke the nostalgia of holidays past. After the parade, head to Public Square for an afternoon of Festive Family Fun. The day concludes with the magical Lighting of Public Square. Thousands of twinkling lights turn the area into a winter wonderland.

Also, the 5th Annual Festival of Lights Holiday Lighting Competition is on December 14—residents and businesses will showcase their best holiday displays. Stroll through the community and admire the creativity and merry spirit that light up Mount Vernon.
