If you are a veteran, a visit to the Brooke-Hancock County Veteran’s Memorial can be viewed as you drive into downtown Weirton with tanks, planes, ship anchors and several memorials. A must see if you served in the military. Or stop in the Weirton Area Museum and Cultural Center for a nostalgic trip of Weirton’s history.

If you love the simpler life, book your weekend at the historic, Sarah Miller House in the town of Wellsburg, West Virginia, at 900 Main Street.
