Mountain State Art & Craft Fair: Sketch Out the Perfect Day

This fair has drawn in visitors for more than six decades, and for good reason. Not only does it have over 100 exhibits to enjoy, but it also offers live craft demonstrations, Appalachian folk music and storytelling, and interactive learning exhibits.
Plus, there’s the annual quilt show, which certainly draws a lot of attention at the fair. Quilters can enter their pieces to be sold and/or judged, and the public is able to vote for the winner of the “People’s Choice Award.” This year’s theme is “Garden Party,” so be sure to visit this craft fair and catch a glimpse of these beautiful pieces.
