One highlight is the Forest Hobbit Home in Creola. Built underground, this whimsical escape blends forest views with a storybook experience you won’t forget.
Beyond the Cabins
When it’s time to explore, the county has plenty to offer.
“We have really cool general stores, Stella’s Mercantile, Moonville Market, and Hammond Hardware,” said Mason. “We also have Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards and Farm Winery.”
Outdoor lovers can try a winter bird hike at Lake Hope State Park, while indoor adventurers can tee up at Wise Guys Golf, featuring a state-of-the-art simulator.
