2 (15-ounce) cans Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup water
2 ounces turkey kielbasa, diced
1 large yellow onion, diced
1 carrot, sliced
1 medium turnip, diced
2 cups sliced cabbage
4 garlic cloves, minced or 1½ tsp. minced garlic in jar
2 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into pieces
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 celery stalk, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1 bay leaf
Directions:
- Put all ingredients except cabbage in crockpot.
- Cook on high 4 – 6 hours or on low 8 – 10 hours.
- Add cabbage during last hour of cooking.
- Discard bay leaf before serving.
