Columbus will be hosting its first ever Columbus Craft Beer Week on May 1-9 (okay, so *technically* it’s a little longer than a “week,” but who’s complaining?).
The festivities will include hundreds of events happening at dozens of different venues all week all over town, including tap takeovers, beer dinners, beer runs, golf scrambles and more!
Seven teams of local breweries have worked together on collaboration brews that will be tapped throughout the week around town. You can try all seven at a kickoff event May 1 at Giant Eagle Market District Grandview.
Additionally, the “Columbus Ale Trail Brew Book” is being launched in conjunction with Experience Columbus, Drink Up Columbus, Columbus Brew Adventures, The Ohio Taproom and Blue Label Digital. The Brew Book has fun specials such as rewarding you for visiting any four breweries over the next year to score a free pint glass -or- visit all 20 for a free t-shirt!
The week is wrapping up with a big beer festival called Six One Pour, happening May 9 at Brewmaster’s Gate from 5-7 PM, featuring live music and over two dozen Ohio breweries. All seven special collaborative beers – brewed just for the week – will be on tap, so guests can top off the week on a communal note. Buy Tickets Here.
