This summer, Ohio’s Hocking Hills is set to host various vibrant festivals that promise to be the season’s highlight. From the eclectic sounds of the Nelsonville Music Festival to the unique Logan Washboard Arts & Music Festival, there’s a festival for every taste in this beautiful region.

Logan Washboard Arts & Music Festival

The Logan Washboard Arts & Music Festival kicks off the summer from June 13-15, 2024. This unique event celebrates the washboard as a musical instrument and features a spectacular lineup of music, arts and crafts, a car show, and free activities for children. It’s a weekend filled with fun in the heart of Hocking Hills.

Lilyfest

Next is Lilyfest from July 12-14, 2024, offering a serene escape into nature, art, and music. Visitors can explore hiking trails, a Viking village, and the Forest Friends exhibit for children. As the premier outdoor education and gardening event in Hocking Hills, Lilyfest is a must-visit for nature and art enthusiasts.

Nelsonville Music Festival

Following that, the Nelsonville Music Festival takes place on July 26-28, 2024. With over 50 performances across three stages, on-site camping, kids’ activities, and a focus on sustainability, this festival is a true community highlight. Proceeds from ticket sales support Arts Education programs at Stuart’s Opera House, enriching the lives of people in the region.

Don’t miss the Hocking Hills Bigfoot Festival in historic downtown Logan on August 2-3, 2024. This family-friendly event features music, art, culture, tours, workshops, and nightlife, all celebrating the legend of Bigfoot in the hometown of Hocking Hills.

Local Music Events and Summer 2024 Concert Series

In addition to these festivals, enjoy local music events with Music in the Park at Worthington Park every Friday from June to August. Live music can also be found at local wineries and breweries every Friday and Saturday night.
