Natural Wonder Tour
The Natural Wonder Tour begins with a scenic path that leads into the cavern through a sinkhole entrance, formed over thousands of years through a natural geological process. This tour explores an area discovered in the 1920s, with guides explaining the fascinating geology and formations of the cavern. The tour exits into a small building at the park’s south end and lasts about 50 minutes.
Tours Daily
- May 1 through September 30 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) – Tours start every 10-15 minutes during the busy season. Arrive early to avoid waits.
Winter Tour
Experience a unique tour available October 1 through April 30 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). This tour includes highlights from the Natural Wonder and Historic Tours, plus a section not seen during the summer.
Historic Tour
Revisit the past with the Historic Tour, exploring parts of the caverns seen by visitors from 1897-1925. Begin with a shuttle ride to the original entrance, descend into the cavern, and exit into the Visitor Center. This 50-minute tour is rich in history and adventure.
Limestone Tour
The Limestone Tour caters to guests with limited mobility. It follows the same path as the Natural Wonder Tour but on a shorter loop inside the cavern. Guides provide history and geology and then escort guests back up the path. This tour is wheelchair accessible and requires reservations.

Family-Friendly Park and Amenities
Above the caverns, a 35-acre park features a playground, picnic shelters, picnic areas, EV charging stations, and restrooms. The Visitor’s Center houses a rock and gift shop with souvenirs, clothing, unique gifts, rocks, minerals, and fossils.
