March 4, 2022, locally owned E&H Ace Hardware opened its flagship store in the heart of Wooster, Ohio. Unlike any other hardware, Ace is bringing the newest concept of retail hardware to life. Three floors of 15,000 square feet offer various hardware, lawn, garden, gift products, and more for your home and business needs
Christopher Buehler, a fourth-generation family member of the business, describes the store as a flagship store that brings a unique multi-floor experience. But don’t let the many levels deter you. You will find they have everything you need or want, and if they happen to be out of something, they will gladly order it for you.
When you open the doors and walk in, you will notice the beautiful patio furniture, the grills, and Traeger smokers, to name a few items. Make your way to the second floor to discover the Benjamin Moore painting studio, household cleaning items, lawn and garden items, hand tools, power tools, automotive and outdoor power equipment. If that isn’t enough, make your way to the third floor to find fasteners, hardware, plumbing, electrical, commercial products, screen, and lamp repair.
The new boutique concept called “The Nook,” a favorite among shoppers, is perfect for finding that unique gift or souvenir. And just beyond The Nook is an immersive outdoor experience where you can plan your ultimate outdoor oasis.
E&H Ace Hardware is owned and operated by the Buehler family and resides in the old Rubbermaid building. For the history buffs, throughout the three floors, you will notice many elements that pay homage to the building’s 135-year history in Wooster.
